At Destination Freedom, we are passionate about creating better communities in America. Our story began with a simple idea: to stand up for those whose voices have been silenced. We believe in the power of advocacy to drive meaningful change in our prisons, communities, and beyond. Our dedicated team works tirelessly to promote equality, justice, opportunity, and fairness for all. We strive to make a lasting impact and inspire others to join us in our mission in helping others succeed.
Our Beliefs
At Destination Freedom, we believe justice-impacted individuals deserve to be treated with humanity, dignity, and fairness whether incarcerated or upon re-entry into society. Destination Freedom actively seeks to amplify the voices of those who have no voice. However, regarding our name, we passionately seek to aid the formerly incarcerated in ways that help them make a smooth and successful transition back into free society. Our belief is grounded in the same vein as Federal Bureau of Prisons’ Director Collette Peters’ initiative which seeks to transform incarcerated human beings into good neighbors in the free world.
